Ramos Center is currently conducting research studies on three conditions: Gout, DPN (Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy), and Fibromyalgia.

Gout is an inflammatory form of arthritis that causes sudden and severe attacks of pain, redness, and swelling in joints such as the big toe, ankles, knees, hands, and wrists. Symptoms also include lingering soreness, inflammation, redness, and limited range of motion. We are currently seeking men aged 50 and above and women aged 55 and above who suffer from gout to participate in our study.

DPN (Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy) is caused by prolonged high blood sugar, which damages nerves in the extremities and other parts of the body. Patients with DPN may lose feeling in affected areas and develop painful cuts or sores, which can lead to infections. Symptoms progress slowly and can include numbness, pins and needles, burning/cold sensations, pinching, sharp pain, touch sensitivity, muscle weakness, and problems with balancing. We are looking for men and women aged 25 to 80 who have type 2 diabetes to participate in our study.

Fibromyalgia causes severe musculoskeletal pain and amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way the brain processes them. Symptoms include widespread pain, fatigue, and difficulties with focus. The condition may be triggered suddenly by trauma, infection, or psychological loss, or may have a gradual onset. We are seeking adults aged 18 and above who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and experience moderate to severe pain.

As a participant in our research studies, you will have access to investigational treatments before they are widely available to the public and will receive expert medical care. We are excited to offer these free trials to our community and are committed to helping you live the life you deserve. Give us a call to learn more about our studies and start your journey to better health.
