Janine Zaccagnino, APRN-BC
With a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University, Janine Zaccagnino has been a member of Dr. Ramos’ team for many years. Working under his guidance, Janine conducts clinical assessments, coordinates patient care, and assists with procedures performed by Dr. Ramos.
Janine brings a wealth of experience to the table, having worked extensively with geriatric patients, as well as serving as a nurse leader for a Neuroscience/Stroke Program at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Her expertise in interventional pain medicine complements her skills as a caregiver, making her an invaluable member of the Ramos Center team.
Danny V. Delgado, PA-C
Danny Delgado practiced medicine in Ecuador for several years before moving to the United States. He then earned a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Texas Pan-American in Edinburg, Texas. Upon completion of his degree, he took the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) and achieved the highest score in the country.
As a Physician Assistant, Mr. Delgado will provide clinical assessments, care, and coordination of procedures to be performed by Dr. Ramos.
Chad Henderson, APRN-BC
Chad has a diverse background in the medical field, having worked in the Emergency Department, Gastroenterology, and Orthopedic Spinal Surgery. He previously served on active duty in the United States Air Force, where he was deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Since 2017, Chad has focused on providing highly precise joint injections for pain management, and has successfully administered over 500 injections to patients at the Ramos Center.
Jessica Butz, DNP, APRN-BC
Jessica Butz is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who obtained her Bachelors of Nursing degree from Shenandoah University in Leesburg, VA. After working as a nurse for nearly a decade, she pursued her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Florida State University. Jessica also holds a BS in Psychology and Biology.
Jessica has extensive experience in Perioperative Care, Post Anesthesia Care, and Emergency Medicine at MAGNET recognized hospitals. She has certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ENA TNCC. Along with her passion for the practice of pain medicine, Jessica enjoys spending her free time under the Florida sun. She is scuba certified and loves being on the water.
Joshua Beasley – PA-C
After earning his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 2012, Joshua Beasley pursued his passion for healthcare by attending the University of Florida College of Medicine’s School for Physician Assistant Studies. Following his graduation from PA School in 2015, Beasley established his career in Infectious Disease, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic infections in both outpatient and inpatient settings on the west coast of Florida.
As his expertise expanded, Beasley transitioned to specialize in Orthopedic conditions and Interventional Pain Medicine. Over the past four years, he has been dedicated to helping seniors suffering from chronic pain and derives great satisfaction from seeing his patients’ improvements and their journey back to functionality, thereby enhancing their quality of life.
In his free time, Joshua Beasley spends quality time with his family and stays active with CrossFit, reading books, and other recreational activities. He is now accepting new patients in both Sarasota and Venice offices.
Justin Kotlarczyk, MSPT, CSCS
Justin completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Brockport, where he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science with a specialization in Athletic Training. He continued his education by earning a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. During his academic journey, Justin also served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at St. John Fisher College, catering to the rehabilitation needs and game coverage of more than 500 athletes.
In 2003, Justin attained his certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Throughout his Physical Therapy career, Justin has honed his expertise in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Manual Therapy, and Strength and Conditioning. Additionally, he has expanded his skillset by obtaining a certification in Gait and Vestibular Rehabilitation, which enables him to treat dizziness and falls resulting from gait and balance dysfunction in adults with unilateral peripheral vestibular loss and dysfunction.
Eva Ramey, DPT
Eva earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Movement Science in 2019 and went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2022 from Missouri State University. Eva is certified in both Craniomandibular Pain, and LSVT BIG for Parkinsons Disease. Eva is excited to bring her experience and expertise to the Ramos Center and help patients reach their goals.
Eva decided to go to Physical Therapy school because she had a family member who suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis. She saw first-hand the effects of long-term use of opiates, and wanted to find alternative treatments. Eva’s husband came to Florida for his residency, and the two decided to settle down in Sarasota. They have a 10-year-old dog named Kit and are enjoying their time in Sarasota.
Thomas Brown, PTA – Physical Therapy Assistant
Thomas is a Florida native who was born in the Tampa Bay area and raised in Bradenton. In December 2017, he graduated from Keiser University with an Associate in Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. During his clinical rotations, he discovered his passion for the field of physical therapy while working at the Ramos center. After passing his boards, he was fortunate enough to secure a position at the Ramos center where he plan to specialize in Myofascial release and Vestibular therapies.
His wife is a COTA, and she encouraged him to pursue a more rewarding career in therapy. They have two children, and he is devoted to his family. When he is not spending time with them, he enjoys outdoor activities like scuba diving, fishing, and mountain biking. In his twenties, he studied Kung-fu, which sparked his interest in the body’s motion and ultimately led him to a career in Physical Therapy. He is also an avid reader of non-fiction literature, particularly about the origins of humanity and deep history.
Schyler Johnson, PTA
Schyler attended the State College of Florida in Bradenton for her undergraduate degree and then went on to get her Physical Therapy Assistant Certification from Keiser University in Sarasota, FL. Schyler is passionate about helping Ramos Center patients reduce or even eliminate their pain through physical therapy, and she has made a great addition to our PT Team at the Ramos Center.
Taylor Angel, PTA
Taylor is a Florida native from the Palmetto area who recently moved to Bradenton. She graduated from State College of Florida in 2021, and began her career in physical therapy working in orthopedics. In high school, Taylor did research on physical therapy as a career and fell in love with the profession and the idea of helping make a difference in peoples’ lives. In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Ash. She loves the outdoors, boating, going to the beach and reading a good book. Taylor has a very bubbly personality and loves to add a little laughter to her physical therapy treatments to make her patients feel more comfortable and help lessen their pain.
Marly Ayala-Ycaza, M/S PSY. LMHC
Marly Ayala-Ycaza is a highly experienced therapist who specializes in counseling patients with psychological and psychiatric disorders, with a particular focus on personality issues. She was born in Ecuador and holds Argentinean citizenship. Marly is fluent in French, Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and is capable of providing therapy in any of these languages.
Marly’s academic journey began with an associate degree in nursing from the Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil, where she later served as an Instructor. However, her fascination with the human mind prompted her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in General Psychology from the Universidad Tecnica Particular de Loja, followed by a Master’s degree in Science of Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
With years of experience gained from working in various psychiatric hospitals in both Ecuador and the United States, Marly has developed a comprehensive understanding of eating disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, phobias, traumas, and addictions. Additionally, she has spent the last three years working as a research coordinator for several trials and has authored several papers, including “Learning Communities: a tool for Educational and Clinical Intervention” (June 2010). Marly has also co-authored several papers published by Dr. Ilson Cueva in Ecuador and presented the seminar “Fear to Fly” on multiple occasions in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Katiuska Ramos, CCH, NLP
Katiuska M. Ramos is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner, and a member of the International Association of Hypnotherapists. She received her training from the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy and has extensive education and practice in the field of hypnosis. Her training includes Clinical Hypnotherapy, Interpersonal Hypnotherapy, Trans-Personal Hypnotherapy, and NLP. In addition, she studied with Dr. Richard Bandler, a co-developer of Neuro-Linguistic Techniques, to become a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner.
Combining NLP and Hypnotherapy, Katiuska provides a powerful approach to help individuals experience positive life transformations and harness the power of their subconscious mind. She is highly motivated to stay current with the latest techniques and advances in hypnotherapy, and continuously pursues ongoing education.
Katiuska, along with her husband and three children, has been a resident of Sarasota since 2000. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and provides hypnotherapy services in both languages in the Bradenton and Sarasota areas. Her natural compassion and genuine desire to help others are the driving forces behind her hypnotherapy practice. Her main objective is always to assist individuals in achieving greater health and happiness through hypnosis.
Gina Sussi, APRN-BC
Kaitlyn O’Kennedy – Physician Assistant
Katie O’Kennedy is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant and has been practicing since 2018. Before joining Ramos Center, she worked in Interventional Pain Management and Emergency Medicine. She is experienced in a variety of procedures, including ultrasound & fluoroscopy-guided joint and trigger point injections. She hopes to help patients feel their best by using innovative treatment modalities. Katie earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Clinical Medical Science from Barry University. She lives in St Pete and enjoys spending time with her family, running, and going to the beach.
